     Sarah Orton was baptized on 22 August 1652 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Conn.. She was the daughter of Thomas Orton and Margaret Pell. She married Jedediah Dewey, son of Thomas Dewey and Frances (__?__), circa 1670. She died on 20 November 1711 in Westfield, Mass., at age 59.

     Abigail Dewey was born on 28 January 1703/4 in Westfield, Hampden Co., Mass.. She was the daughter of Adijah Dewey and Sarah Root. She married, at age 20, Charles Dewey, age 20, son of Dea. David Dewey and Sarah (__?__), on 30 January 1723/24 in Westfield, Hampden Co., Mass.. She died on 4 March 1786 in Hebron, Tolland Co., Conn., at age 82.

     Abigail Ashley was born on 6 January 1700/1. She was the daughter of Dea. David Ashley and Mary Dewey. She married David Dewey, son of Dea. David Dewey and Sarah (__?__), in 1724. She died on 20 March 1747/48 in Westfield, Hampden Co., Mass., at age 47.

     Nancy Ciannamea is the daughter of Giuseppe Ciannamea and Pasqua Francese. She married John Morrisey.

     Antoinette Ciannamea was born on 29 September 1929 in Troy, Rensselaer Co., New York. She was the daughter of Giuseppe Ciannamea and Pasqua Francese. She married, at age 20, Edward Yamin, age 25 on 21 May 1950 in Troy, Rensselaer Co., New York. She died on 8 May 2007 in Troy, Rensselaer Co., New York, at age 77, of a stroke.

     Anna Ciannamea is the daughter of Giuseppe Ciannamea and Pasqua Francese. She married Herbert Kehn.

     Mary Griffin was born on 1 March 1651/52 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Conn..¹ She was the daughter of Sergt. John Griffin and Anna Bancroft. She married (1), at age 20, Samuel Wilson, age 18, son of Robert Wilson and Elizabeth Stebbins, on 1 May 1672 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Conn..^2,3 She married (2) Anthony Hoskins, son of John Hoskins and Ann (__?__), between April 1698 and March 1700/1.⁴ She died circa January 1734/35 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Conn..⁵

     Thomas Griffin was born on 3 October 1658 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Conn..^1,2 He was the son of Sergt. John Griffin and Anna Bancroft. He married, at age 35, Elizabeth Welton, daughter of John Welton and Mary Upson, in March 1693/94.¹ He died on 28 August 1719 in Simsbury, Hartford Co., Conn., at age 60.³
     

     In 1682 Thomas received land in Salmon Brook "that was Brother Williams", as well as land that once had been set out to Samuel Wilson (his brother-in-law), who had given up his grants in 1680. Lots changed hands often in these early years as Simsbury struggled to find settlers willing to risk their lives at the northern edge of Simsbury. By 1688, Thomas had grants at Salmon Brook along with his brother-in-law, Richard Segar, and future brother-in-law, Samuel Willcoxson. In an attempt to settle the Salmon Brook area, Simsbury had made grants to, among others, Thomas Griffin, Samuel Wilcoxson, and John Matson, all then young bachelors. The majority of the early Salmon Brook residents were of Welsh background. The Welsh tended to be staunch Protestants and were decidedly on the fringe of a society dominated by an English Puritan elite.

He married Mary Bacon, daughter of Thomas Bacon and Abigail Maskill, in October 1708 in Simsbury, Hartford Co., Conn.. He died on 19 August 1737 in Simsbury, Hartford Co., Conn., at age 80.

     Hannah Griffin was born on 4 July 1649 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Conn.. She was the daughter of Sergt. John Griffin and Anna Bancroft. She married (1), at age 17, Isaac Pond, age 21, son of Samuel Pond and Sarah Wade, in May 1667. She married (2) John Humphrey, son of Michael Humphrey and Priscilla Grant, after 1670. She died on 16 February 1735/36 at age 86.

     Abigail Griffin was born on 12 November 1660 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Conn.. She was the daughter of Sergt. John Griffin and Anna Bancroft. She married, at age 21, Richard Segar on 20 March 1681/82. She died on 31 March 1697 at age 36.

     Ruth Griffin was born on 21 January 1664/65 in Simsbury, Hartford Co., Conn.. She was the daughter of Sergt. John Griffin and Anna Bancroft. She died on 27 August 1719 at age 54.

     Mindwell Griffin was born on 11 February 1661/62 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Conn..^1,2 She was the daughter of Sergt. John Griffin and Anna Bancroft. She married Samuel Wilcoxson, son of Sergt. Samuel Wilcoxson and Hannah Rice, circa 1691 in Simsbury, Hartford Co., Conn.. She died after April 1719 when she is granted guardianship of her children.

     Ephraim Griffin was born on 1 May 1668 in Simsbury, Hartford Co., Conn.. He was the son of Sergt. John Griffin and Anna Bancroft. He married, at age 39, Elizabeth Adams, age 20, daughter of Samuel Adams and Elizabeth Hill, on 9 December 1707. He died on 26 September 1725 in Simsbury, Hartford Co., Conn., at age 57.

     Nathaniel Griffin was born on 31 May 1673 in Simsbury, Hartford Co., Conn.. He was the son of Sergt. John Griffin and Anna Bancroft. He married, at age 38, Alice Welton, age 21, daughter of John Welton and Mary Upson, on 14 March 1711/12 in Simsbury, Hartford Co., Conn.. He died in February 1712/13 in Simsbury, Hartford Co., Conn., at age 39.

     Sarah Holcomb was born on 1 February 1672/73.¹ She was the daughter of Sergt. Benajah Holcomb and Sarah Eno. She married, at age 21, Isaac Owen, age 24, son of John Owen and Rebecca Wade, on 20 December 1694. She died on 22 January 1763 in East Granby, Hartford Co., Conn., at age 89.

     Sarah Owen was born on 17 February 1694/95. She was the daughter of Isaac Owen and Sarah Holcomb. She married, at age 19, Ephraim Phelps Jr., age 22, son of Ephraim Phelps and Mary Jagger, on 30 December 1714.

     Deborah Owen was born in 1696. She was the daughter of Isaac Owen and Sarah Holcomb. She married James Eno, son of James Eno and Hannah Phelps.

     Rebecca Owen was born on 2 March 1697/98. She was the daughter of Isaac Owen and Sarah Holcomb.

     Anna Owen was born in 1700. She was the daughter of Isaac Owen and Sarah Holcomb.

     Ensign Isaac Owen was born on 7 November 1702 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Conn.. He was the son of Isaac Owen and Sarah Holcomb. He married Mary Ellsworth, daughter of Jonathan Ellsworth and Sarah Grant. He died on 3 January 1775 in Turkey Hills, now, East Granby, Hartford Co., Conn., at age 72.

     Elijah Owen was born on 7 October 1706.¹ He was the son of Isaac Owen and Sarah Holcomb. He married Hannah Higley, daughter of Brewster Higley and Esther Holcomb. He died on 22 September 1741 at age 34.

     Hannah Higley was born on 17 December 1717. She was the daughter of Brewster Higley and Esther Holcomb. She married Elijah Owen, son of Isaac Owen and Sarah Holcomb. She died on 26 January 1806 at age 88.
